Not since February 2020. No matter how hard we try to go "back to normal", we can't. Believe me, I want normal of two years ago to come back as much as the next person. However, our reality is, that it isn't. Nothing will go back. </p><p>That doesn't mean it has to be a bad thing. Our minds tell us that "normal" is what we crave but we need to understand that we can live and thrive without our "normal". It hurts. It's painful and infuriating at times. Our emotions, our reactions, our thoughts have forever been changed by the past two years. Some of us it's been for the better. Some have drawn closer to God and realized they can't do life without Him. And you shouldn't.</p><p>Others have grown farther and farther from the loving Savior that longs to be in the midst of all the mess with you. Our world around us has us seeing chaos, murder, hatred, and violence on every single channel. Everywhere you turn someone's angry about the server not getting their food fast enough, the person in front of them not driving as soon as the light turns green, the person next to them having trouble deciding on a purchase that is stopping them from moving forward. All the while these emotions driving us make us forget that who we're angry at is another person living in this same craziness that we are. </p><p>We turn at each other over differences of opinions, fighting against each other because we aren't the same. Instead of loving each other and pointing towards the Cross, we spit vile hatred and disgust. </p><p>Nothing is the same. </p><p>And yet... <i>some things didn't change. </i></p><p>Jesus is still on the throne sitting beside His Father ever interceding for those of us here. The enemy is still trying to thwart God's plans and destroy people but God wins <b>every. single. time.</b></p><p>There's still a chance to turn from sin, let go of unforgiveness, and live life chasing hard after God. There's still a Father in heaven that cares deeply about you and every single thing that happens in your life. There's still our Father that is waiting patiently for you to choose Him. He loves you so much that He won't force it on you. You must choose. </p><p>The world around us wants us to believe that God is just rules, regulations, and a harsh dictator waiting to smite you. That couldn't be farther from the truth. See, He's waiting on you. Waiting for you to choose Him. Waiting on you to choose life. </p><p>Instead of getting angry at something out of your control today, stop and think. How can I be kindness today? How can I show God's love to someone who may not ever step foot into a church? How can I be "Jesus with skin on today"? </p><p>I don't say this pointing fingers. I say this with a humble heart. I am this person too. I am the quick to anger at times person who needs to stop and remember... Nothing is the same... But God never changed. </p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04508534851826843157noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3173788308803719107.post-67874325252568689632021-05-25T11:09:00.000-04:002021-05-25T11:09:20.028-04:00KJV Bible Review and GIVEAWAY! Today we're going to take a look at three different Holman bibles that are sure to be beneficial to a variety of ages.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I am thankful to Lifeway and Lev3l Digital for this amazing chance to investigate and explore three KJV bibles. These are full of helpful tools for bible study for all ages.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">While I do utilize several translations during study time, I always find myself back in KJV. It is one of my favorite versions. What about you? </div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I was given the opportunity to review three different bibles:</div><p></p><p></p><ol style="text-align: left;"><li>Holman KJV Ultrathin Reference Bible</li><li>Holman KJV - One Big Story Bible (children's)</li><li>Holman KJV Study Bible</li></ol><div><br /></div><div>Choosing your bible translation is a very personal choice. It's one that you don't take lightly. When it comes to finding a version you can rely on, the KJV has been around for years. </div><div><br /></div><div>In the beginning of the 1600's, the King James Version was translated. Those translating God's word at the time were the top scholars of their day. Their focus was to give a translation that would last generations to come and it has. People from all walks of life turn to the KJV for their bible study, reading, and preaching.</div><div><br /></div><div>The versions I received are beautifully bound and full of wonderful tools to help as you study the Word. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dhZWuabvnD8/YK0Phn0iKnI/AAAAAAAAaXs/nduASYMcvnsSNF1GMbD-cWkemf3fFawoACLcBGAsYHQ/s800/3Bibles.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="800" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-dhZWuabvnD8/YK0Phn0iKnI/AAAAAAAAaXs/nduASYMcvnsSNF1GMbD-cWkemf3fFawoACLcBGAsYHQ/w400-h400/3Bibles.png" width="400" /></a></div><div><br /></div><div><b>Holman KJV Ultrathin Reference</b></div><div>This version of the KBJ fits easily in a bag or goes along with you as it is very lightweight. The two-column text and easy to read type make this one that will not strain your eyes no matter your age. In the center column you'll find references that help you to dive deeper into the passage you're reading. There's a concordance, full-color maps, and all the Words of Christ are in red.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Holman KJV - One Big Story Study Bible (Children's)</b></div><div>Are you looking for the perfect addition to your children's walk with God? Then take a look at this version! It is brightly adorned with beautiful pictures and full-page illustrations in color. Every book of the bible has an introduction to help your children understand the details. There are 100 verses to remember highlighted throughout the bible, as well as big-words dictionary and the big questions and answers sections. It also features what is called the Christ Connection. This shows your children how Christ is truly woven through each story in the bible.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Holman KJV Study Bible</b></div><div>For those looking to dive deeper into their bible study, this may be the option for you! The bible comes with full color visuals throughout to help you see both the context and structure of the scripture. It is easy to lay the bible open flat with the beautiful, high-quality, smyth-sewn binding. Full-length articles sprinkled throughout help to cover the theological issues that take place, as well as the practical issues such as the origin and transmission of the Bible itself. You'll find multiple references in the edges, words of Christ in red, and three columns of study notes on the bottom edges of the page. Take advantage of the one-year and three-year bible reading plans as well. </div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lxD7UV2zIgM/YK0SBaezBRI/AAAAAAAAaX0/sDLwkk-BKsg_FfH4cpXsbTRIf1Gke2UOQCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/capture12images43367%2B%25281%2529.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lxD7UV2zIgM/YK0SBaezBRI/AAAAAAAAaX0/sDLwkk-BKsg_FfH4cpXsbTRIf1Gke2UOQCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/capture12images43367%2B%25281%2529.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div>I have really enjoyed thumbing through these three versions and checking out the many benefits to each one. This year has been one of chaos at every turn it seems. Moms have had to learn to school at home, deal with a virus that strikes fear into even the bravest, wonder what next year will look like, and NOW it’s time for the holidays. <p></p><p><br /></p><p>Many of us have ideas in our minds of what the holidays should look like. If you’re like me there is a list. A list of all the items that you just HAVE to get taken care of for it to be THE picture perfect holiday. Mama, please hear me. There’s no such thing. Food is going to get burned. Children are going to have their tired tantrums that come. Gifts aren’t going to get there on time due to no fault of your own. Things are not going to go as you always want them to. That. Is. Okay!</p><p>Hear me, your family needs you to be present. As moms, we tend to hold all of these ideals of what we think it should look like and become buried under the weight of our own expectations. These expectations of ours can make us feel as if we are smothering and cause us to completely miss the one thing our family truly needs, us. </p><p>Before the hustle and bustle gets to you, let’s stop and pray. Stop and remind yourself to give grace to someone it can be hard to give it to, yourself. Remember to breathe. Yes, a list and expectations are great. However, don’t let them take over. It’s okay if it looks different this year. You be present in the moment. Stop, drink your coffee, tea, or cocoa and be present. </p><p><i>1 Peter 5:7 says, “ Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”</i></p><p>I want to encourage you, start off the day with some time for prayer, reflection, and getting yourself focused. It will make a huge difference. Ask Him for strength for the must do’s and the wisdom to know what you can let go of. Help your children experience this holiday season with a mom that is in the moment, breathing, and soaking it up. </p><p>You are loved. You are enough. You are a precious lady and amazing mother. Do not ever forget that. </p><p>If you’d like prayer, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Talk with someone close to you or you can always message me. I’m praying for you. You got this Mama!</p>Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04508534851826843157noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3173788308803719107.post-17032735827577158102020-11-24T16:11:00.000-05:002020-11-24T16:11:26.731-05:00Holy Land Illustrated Bible Review and GIVEAWAY!! <p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oeBV46uVqas/X71xsEYIJ0I/AAAAAAAAaJE/pswopetgAUkJ6vbRoBAgH5IPwy5caYSfgCLcBGAsYHQ/s2048/holyland.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1934" data-original-width="2048" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-oeBV46uVqas/X71xsEYIJ0I/AAAAAAAAaJE/pswopetgAUkJ6vbRoBAgH5IPwy5caYSfgCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/holyland.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>I'm super excited to share with you another great Bible product that you're going to want to pay attention to! This product was sent to me for review and I'm so honored to get to pass it on to you. <p></p><p>I love using a variety of Bible's in studying when I'm preparing for a message. It helps me to get a variety of perspectives, notes, and insight into the topic. This is a GREAT addition to my study! </p><p>The new Bible I want to share with you is the Holy Land Illustrated Bible in the Christian Standard Version.</p><p>I am a believer for sure. I've read the Bible my entire life and I believe what it says. However, there's something unique and faith-building when you can actually SEE the places you're talking about. Lazarus' tomb? It's in there! A picture of the mountain believed to be where Moses met God? YEP! </p><p>This bible contains a variety of helps such as:</p><p></p><ul style="text-align: left;"><li>1200 plus maps, illustrations, and images of people, places, and different artifacts in scripture</li><li>Digging Deeper sections to help you dive into the story even more to see why it's important</li><li>Over 270 articles that share insight into the world and the culture when the Bible was written</li><li>Intros for the books of the Bible to help you know the author, time and setting of the book when it was written</li></ul><div>Take a quick look at this video below to see an inside view of the Holy Land Illustrated Bible:</div><div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><iframe allowfullscreen="" class="BLOG_video_class" height="266" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/-tA-CUwM23w" width="320" youtube-src-id="-tA-CUwM23w"></iframe></div>This bible was published and is offered by Lifeway Christian Resources. Making the Word come alive can help you to understand, retain, and grow in your faith. <p></p><p>The bible comes in variety of versions including the hard back like I received and also leathertouch and genuine leather. You can take a look at purchasing the Bible by <a href="https://csbholylandillustratedbible.com/#purchase">clicking here</a>.</p><p>My thoughts:<br /><br /></p><div>I remember looking through the Bible and seeing the picture of Lazarus's tomb. I was honestly overwhelmed. I know it's there. I know it happened. SEEING it was a totally new experience. I have loved diving into the different articles, digging deeper sections and learning even more. I am definitely a visual learner so this is very helpful to have all of it in one book. Instead of having to go to multiple sources, this provides a lot of insight and assistance all in one place. </div><div><br /></div><div>I would recommend this as a gift for those in your life who want to dive deeper into the Word, to see what they're reading about, and who really love learning the history and culture. It's also a great purchase for yourself if that describes you! </div><div><br /></div><div>NOW, for more exciting news!!! I am honored to be able to give away this bible! (Sponsored Post)<h1 style="text-align: left;">Life Essentials Bible Review</h1><div>Having a solid study bible on hand is critical to diving deeper in the scripture. There are many options out there that are great, but I want to present you a new option that I hope you enjoy! I was recently asked to review the <a href="https://csblifeessentialsstudybible.com/">Life Essentials Interactive Study Bible</a> by Gene A. Getz. Dr. Getz is a renowned teacher of the Bible and provides an in depth look at the guiding principles and wisdom throughout the entire book. If you'd like to hear from Dr. Getz for yourself, <a href="https://youtu.be/4YckR9Fq3r0">here's a video</a> of how he came about to develop this study bible that was released on March 15, 2020. Take a look below at all the wonderful features of this study bible and make sure to check out the giveaway down at the bottom of the post! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipESuZ-wGkMl9emMsGudKRYg8z_0d2Gy5drhvlG6UB1E9zx-zZ2iBaz1CrobBywTNHk1UA0tpZGH9UOjWKQmJHqRKv9d8WBgE1YrivfuAP2cbO__xjuvJMaGG72BMTA2uOQuyW_zfBE1M/" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="500" data-original-width="500" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipESuZ-wGkMl9emMsGudKRYg8z_0d2Gy5drhvlG6UB1E9zx-zZ2iBaz1CrobBywTNHk1UA0tpZGH9UOjWKQmJHqRKv9d8WBgE1YrivfuAP2cbO__xjuvJMaGG72BMTA2uOQuyW_zfBE1M/w400-h400/productshots_3.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><h3 style="text-align: left;">What's in the Bible?</h3></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">This study bible takes an interactive approach to diving deeper into God's word. Throughout the bible, you will find sections called Principles. Each of these are a look deeper into the specific life lesson that God is sharing in that specific passage of scripture. Each principle has notes and questions, but also a scannable QR code for you to interact with that specific passage. The QR code will let you to a video where Dr. Getz is actually teaching that principle. It is a great way to read the Word, hear the Word, and study it all at the same time. For some of us, video or audio make it easier to grasp the concept you're trying to understand. For others, reading it is the best way. This bible offers multiple ways for you to study the scriptures deeper than you may have before. There's also questions in the principles to help you study in your own life or to have for a small group study if you're working with others. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">There are over 1500 different videos that can be used in this study bible for you to interact with. They vary in length, depending on the topic at hand. The reasoning behind putting these principles in the way they are is to help us all apply the scripture to our life every day. Sometimes it can be difficult to understand some of the scriptures and how it actually applies to us. Dr. Getz has come alongside you to have a bible teacher in your home while you study. I personally like to study a variety of bible versions at one time in my own devotion time. I like to have several open to the same passage to help me compare each and all the notes that are provided. It has helped tremendously having the video teaching as well. If you want to watch a video, you can. If you prefer to study the questions and read for yourself, you do that as well. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Each principle is highlighted in a blue section on the page that is near the scripture it is referring too. You can see that in the picture below.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EeiYHwjnzWI/XpmErZU3-wI/AAAAAAAAX_Q/b7PqzGM9fMYmdzv0W-U3gagp-hB0cSv-QCK4BGAsYHg/bible.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="714" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EeiYHwjnzWI/XpmErZU3-wI/AAAAAAAAX_Q/b7PqzGM9fMYmdzv0W-U3gagp-hB0cSv-QCK4BGAsYHg/w298-h400/bible.jpg" width="298" /></a>.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Another very cool feature to these principles is that while you're reading, there are sections that refer back to a previous principle mentioned before. For example, while reading in Luke chapter 19 verse 45-47, there are blue notes to refer you back to a principle in Isaiah. You can see how the scripture is all woven together and how each lesson is shown throughout the word itself. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><h3 style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Other Features:</h3><div>There are many other features of this study bible that include: </div><div><ul style="text-align: left;"><li>Two-color design in the interior</li><li>Concordonce</li><li>Full color maps</li><li>Commentary</li><li>Questions to help study deeper</li><li>Nice sized font</li><li>Introduction page to each book</li><li>Introduction to the principles in that book</li><li>Smyth sewn binding</li><li>Footnotes</li><li>Christian Standard Version</li></ul><h4 style="text-align: left;">What is Christian Standard Version or CSV?</h4><div>I know there are of us that prefer King James over anything else. I find myself leaning more towards ESV these days as it seems the closest to the King James but in easier to understand English. However, the CSB is a great option as well for those who are new believers or those who need help understanding. It is easy to read and understand for all ages. The CSB was created to stay faithful to the original writings of scripture while giving you clarity at the same time. However, I would never tell you which version you should choose to go with. I highly suggest you research the options out there and choose the one you feel the most confident in. </div><div><br /></div><div>You need to understand what you're reading as well as have the closest thing to the original as you possibly can. </div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Now for some fun!</div><div><br /></div><div>I have been given the amazing opportunity to offer one of these bibles to YOU in a giveaway below! Be sure to click the Rafflecopter link for entry and comment below what your favorite version of the bible is. I'm very thankful for an amazing group of students I get to hang out with every single week. They push me to be on my toes, to laugh, and to enjoy life.<br />
<br />
921. I'm thankful for my husband. This week we will celebrate 16 years of marriage. God has blessed us with an amazing life together and I can't wait to see what our future holds.<br />

If you've been in my home at all, you know I love all the things that make your home smell amazing. Whether it is the citrusy type scents in the summer or the warm peppermint, cranberry type in the winter, candles are a part of our daily lives here.<br />
<br />
I was super excited when I received the <a href="https://ambervalehome.com/">Amber Vale Home Holiday Sampler</a> set to review and share with you all today. The three 4 oz. unique scents are just exactly what you'd think of when you think of the holiday season. These beautiful candles are a great accent to any room during Thanksgiving, Christmas or any time around the holidays. They spark memories of holidays gone by while you're enjoying the season with friends and family,<br />
<br />
The candles arrived neatly packed and protected to my home several days ago. They feature beautiful brown, glass jars and a cute label printed on the side to let you know what scent each one is.<br />
<br />
There's also a little note in the box sharing how to use a wood wick candle. As I've never used those type before, that was much appreciated!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mPIUnTl_-_I/XdZ1GbinbwI/AAAAAAAAVx0/CAcg5HIllXs23H5gn2OI50CV57f_Htk9wCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/73199091_10218056897426762_3148853542190579712_o.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="960" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mPIUnTl_-_I/XdZ1GbinbwI/AAAAAAAAVx0/CAcg5HIllXs23H5gn2OI50CV57f_Htk9wCLcBGAsYHQ/s320/73199091_10218056897426762_3148853542190579712_o.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
There are three different scents in the<a href="https://shop.ambervalehome.com/collections/wooden-wick-candles/products/holiday-sampler"> holiday sampler</a>. They include:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul>
<li><b>Gathering - </b>Orange and clove</li>
<li><b>Tennessee Christmas - </b>Evergreen Deciduous</li>
<li><b>With Extra Whip - </b>Peppermint Hot Chocolate</li>
</ul>
<div>
I have to say, Gathering is probably my favorite. The warm clove and orange scent together just screams holidays to me. My husband and son loved the With Extra Whip candle the best. While I am usually not an evergreen gal, this one was actually quite nice. It wasn't overpowering as some of those scents can be. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The candle set retails for $20 and is a great gift idea for friends or family. It is also a fantastic addition to your home as you're hosting guests this holiday season.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For those who want cleaner burning candles, you're going to love these. The natural blend of soy and coconut make you feel better about what you're using in your home. The wooden wick adds that unique "crackle" effect as it burns, giving you the feeling of a fireplace without the hassle. These candles are also free from any phtalates as well. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<a href="https://ambervalehome.com/">Amber Vale Home</a> also has several other adorable candle products to choose from for all your gift giving needs this year. Be sure you stop by their site and take a look at the selection. </div>

As we approach the holiday season, perhaps you're looking for a way to boost your faith or a gift for someone in your life who needs encouragement. Whatever your situation is, diving into the Word of God can help you find peace, wisdom, guidance, and encouragement for all stages of life.<br />
<br />
As a youth pastor I encourage my students to spend time every day soaking up what God has to say. Whether you have five minutes to meditate on a verse or hours to read chapters and books, spending time in the Word daily is a fantastic way to grow in your walk. You can see the hear of God shining through on each page. He loves you. He wants a relationship with you. He provides a way out for you. He gave the ultimate sacrifice to be with you.<br />
<br />
Spending time in the Word and studying what God has to say is exactly what the Tony Evans Study Bible helps you do. This beautifully bound Black/brown Leathertouch bible works perfectly as a gift to others or as an addition to your study library.<br />
<br />

I highly encourage you to spend time daily learning more about the God we serve. </div>

Welcome to Menu Planning Monday!<br />
<br />
How was your week? Did you stick to the plan you made?<br />
<br />
As for us, we did for the most part. We enjoyed a lovely time for great-grandmother's 89th birthday this weekend, and we helped my parents move some items to their new home.<br />
<br />
This week we are on a semi-normal schedule. I'm working from home today instead of the church due to a plumbing issue. Those are always fun right? BUT GOD is working things out for us so it is a blessing in disguise!<br />
<br />
Back to menu planning! This week we will have praise and worship practice, church and assisting with any moving my parents may need.<br />
<br />
So here's what our menu is going to look like for the week!<br />
<br />
Monday - Chicken Alfredo<br />
Tuesday - Meatloaf and veggies<br />
Wednesday - Youth group at church - leftovers<br />
Thursday - Son will make dinner - I have him in charge of supper one night each week. He will come up with his shopping list and plan.<br />
Friday - Possible date night with friends<br />
Saturday - Grill Burgers and hot dogs<br />
Sunday - Pork chops on grill<br />
<br />
So what does your week look like? Hope it's a fantastic one! Have any great recipes you want to share?Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04508534851826843157noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3173788308803719107.post-16263631190557779302019-10-31T07:19:00.000-04:002019-10-31T07:19:06.130-04:00Thankful Thursday **Only a few more hours to sign up for the <a href="https://bobjenjack.blogspot.com/2019/10/christmas-jars-movie-review-and.html">giveaway</a>!**<br />

One thing I try to stay consistent with is menu planning. I have a big dry erase board that it is attached to the side of my refrigerator. Each week I come up with a menu that lists what I plan for supper and what outside activities we may have. For example, Wednesday nights are youth group night and we serve food there. That is one night I do not have to cook, wahoo!<br />
<br />
Also, recently I've started having my son cook one meal a week. He gets to choose what he wants to cook, make sure we have the ingredients, and it is up to him to make it happen. Yes, I still stand and oversee in case he has questions etc. However, it is up to him to get supper on the table that night. I want him to be prepared for his future, and let's face it, a guy that knows his way around the kitchen is awesome!<br />
<br />
This week is quite busy with outside activities so I am trying to make it easy on myself by cooking items that will last more than one meal. Leftovers truly are a blessing when you have a lot of out of the house activities.<br />
<br />
So, here's a look at what we're eating this week.<br />
<br />
Monday - Trim Healthy Mama Chicken Quiche. It is a super easy, super yummy "S" meal out of the Trim Healthy Table cookbook. It makes a TON when you go by the original recipe so it will feed us for multiple meals.<br />
<br />
Tuesday - Either leftovers or Boo Bear is up for cooking his meal of the week<br />
<br />
Wednesday - This is our youth night so we'll eat at the church<br />
<br />
Thursday - Trunk or Treat - Chili at the church<br />
<br />
Friday - Dad grills for us<br />
<br />
Saturday - Eating at Nana's - Sometimes it means leftovers, other times it means that we will pick something up on the way home<br />
<br />
Sunday - Burgers and hot dogs on the grill<br />
<br />
Why do I menu plan? For us, it is a great way to stay on budget at the grocery store and to know what is needed during the week. This also helps to reduce the, what's for dinner panic at 4 p.m. every day. Yes, I still deal with that sometimes EVEN thought I have a plan. That is why there is always some grace sprinkled throughout. Sometimes you have a very long day and you just don't feel like cooking. Other times, you just don't like the sounds of what you have on the board. For those days, we either make something super easy in my BFF, the Instantpot, or dad can pick up something on the way.<br />
<br />
Creating this menu for the week is super simple, and helps to reduce stress on Mama for sure.<br />

Sigh...time moves entirely too fast Mamas. Make sure that you are cherishing every moment you can. Even those that bring you to tears or make you question if that phase will ever end? It will and a new one creeps up on you.<br />
<br />
The next thing you know, they are almost taller than you and are doing things all on their own.<br />

Okay, enough with the emotional stuff... Let's get on to what our 8th grade school year will look like.<br />
<br />
We actually took the summer off this year due to a lot of fun adventures. It is the first time he's ever had a summer break in our entire career of homeschooling. Hopefully it works in our favor for when it is time to start back in a couple weeks!<br />
<br />
Here we go!<br />
<br />
<b>Math and Science</b><br />
We will continue doing these two subjects on Florida Virtual School. I'm thankful we have this free program to compliment our homeschool curriculum and keep us on track. The teachers we have had so far are wonderful and work with Boo Bear to make sure he does his best. This option is a great one for us as we do not want to do all of our school work on the computer. It gives us the option to pick and choose the courses, up to 6 classes at a time, that he can take. We typically stick with these two subjects as we like other options, for now, for the rest.<br />
<br />
<b>Grammar and Spelling</b><br />
We are trying a different route this year with our grammar. We will be doing the ACE Paces for English and Word Building. These smaller books help Boo Bear to actually see completion throughout the school year and it helps him to keep pushing along. I have been a writer and editor for 10 plus years but I do NOT like English... Go figure... We are excited to try this program out this year and will keep you posted on how it works for us.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-E83OdcE6g8g/XTWiH8PZCWI/AAAAAAAAUf8/SCzEEtAlCW86Rba5aHpVNXgnc4aKCpS0wCLcBGAs/s1600/652432_1_exc.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="916" data-original-width="693" height="320" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-E83OdcE6g8g/XTWiH8PZCWI/AAAAAAAAUf8/SCzEEtAlCW86Rba5aHpVNXgnc4aKCpS0wCLcBGAs/s320/652432_1_exc.jpg" width="242" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>American History</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We are using the <a href="https://history.notgrass.com/high-school/exploring-america/">NotGrass US History</a> program this year. We started it a few years ago and did part of it. We really enjoyed it so we're going to finish it up and do a review for it this year. It is a great program that encompasses maps, quizzes, fun projects to reiterate what we've learned and so much more! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Music</b></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Boo Bear takes guitar weekly and plays on the youth worship band. This will be one of our extracurriculars through the year as well. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We will also be making our regular frequent trips to the library for reading materials and research. He will be writing in a journal daily as well. Our field trips look different now that he is older. They are fewer and far between but mainly because he isn't as interested in those as he used to be. That's another sad fact of them growing up. The things that you USED to love aren't as appealing anymore and it's a hard pill to swallow. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Okay, enough of me gushing over memory lane. This is going to be an exciting year ahead and there will be many adventures, I'm sure! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
What does your homeschool year look like? </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

Happy Monday to ya! I hope you had a very relaxing and fun weekend. We had a good time with family and friends this weekend. Simply hanging out with each other and fellowshipping. <br />
<br />
Last week was quite busy so honestly, I didn't have a menu. It was a week of winging it with leftovers and stuff from our freezer. All of us just kind of fixed our own thing as we had a band camp for Boo Bear and our annual VBS. That was a blast, by the way. We had over 50 children show up for our VBS! That was our biggest year yet! So awesome that all of these families came out this year and we are so blessed to have our children's leader. She's the BOMB!<br />
<br />
This week will definitely be a better menu week. We have all missed our family dinners :).<br />
<br />
Monday - dinner with friends from out of town. We have some out of town friends coming in and we will meet them for dinner nearby. It will be our one time eating out this week.<br />
<br />
Tuesday - Taco Salad<br />
<br />
Wednesday - Cheeseburger Pie<br />
<br />
Thursday - Leftovers and clean out fridge<br />
<br />
Friday - Hubby grills<br />
<br />
Saturday - Pork Chops<br />
<br />
Sunday - Philly steaks<br />
<br />
Next week we are taking our youth to the National Fine Arts Competition! Three of our amazing teens made it and we will be cheering them on and having a fantastic week together. Our menus will be a little different since we will be cooking for a bunch of people all at the same time. I'm currently looking for yummy ideas that are simple and easy to cook but are tasty and fit dietary needs of everyone. Should be a fun adventure!<br />
<br />
So, what is on your menu this week? What is a go to for you when you're busy running around? I'd love to hear them in the comments below!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04508534851826843157noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3173788308803719107.post-21267205049192821202019-06-20T06:11:00.000-04:002019-06-21T06:12:21.795-04:00Thankful Thursday 880. Happy Monday to you! Hope you had a fantastic weekend with your family or doing what you love. Even if you were at work, I hope it was a great time this weekend.<br />
<br />
My boys went off on an adventure Saturday and I went to our women's ministry annual summer tour. It was a much needed time for me.<br />
<br />
I'm working on getting my normal blogging schedule back up and running. I've honestly missed it so much and things have gotten to an even balance so I can start back up. It's such an awesome release for me honestly. I just love sitting at the computer and sharing my heart!<br />
<br />
So, I'm trying to embark this summer, at least until it's out, on a USE WHAT IS IN YOUR PANTRY challenge. Let's be honest for a second. One, I buy canned items because we live in Florida. Everyone knows what the summer brings with it. So, I'm stocking up on our hurricane supplies but there is also the fact that I need to simply use what we have for a bit as well.<br />
<br />
I'm going to be sharing each week our menu plan and then I can update at the end of the week how it went. Not only will it help us to be mindful of what we have hidden in the back of the pantry, it also helps to reduce my weekly grocery budget and frees that money up for other things.<br />
<br />
So, without further ado, here's our weekly menu for June 17th thru June23rd<br />
<br />
Monday - We will be out of the house for an appointment so it will be a dinner provided to us at that event.<br />
<br />
Tuesday - Sloppy Joes, salad, and corn<br />
<br />
Wednesday - Eating at Youth group<br />
<br />
Thursday - Chicken Alfredo and steamed brocolli<br />
<br />
Friday - Grilled Steak and veggies<br />
<br />
Saturday - Hot dogs on the grill, butter beans and sausage<br />
<br />
Sunday - Homemade pizzas with ham and pineapple<br />
<br />
So, what's on your menu this week? Have you ever done this type of thing before? What are your tips for keeping your groceries on a budget? I'd love to hear from you!<br />
<br />
Have a blessed week!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04508534851826843157noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3173788308803719107.post-70571637421535258842019-06-13T06:30:00.000-04:002019-06-13T06:30:05.069-04:00Thankful Thursday870. I'm thankful for what God is doing in our lives. It is exciting, scary, and surely an adventure!<br />
<br />
871. I'm thankful for the people He has placed in our lives. I'm also thankful for those He may have removed. While we may miss them, things like that happen for a reason.<br />
<br />
872. I'm thankful for a summer with my kiddo. We don't usually take a full summer so this is TRULY an adventure!<br />
<br />
873. I'm thankful for mentors that God placed in my life to bring me to where I'm at. Everyone comes into your life for a specific reason. Some for life and some for a season. Some stay with you even when they aren't in the same state anymore.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YNfHIzNS0cw/XP-ZNwHXvVI/AAAAAAAAUbw/zYONAwG4WH4HvIb_HIqf5eKt54Q9JJ0FwCLcBGAs/s1600/59301410_10157200347605396_7314033519280259072_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="720" data-original-width="960" height="300" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YNfHIzNS0cw/XP-ZNwHXvVI/AAAAAAAAUbw/zYONAwG4WH4HvIb_HIqf5eKt54Q9JJ0FwCLcBGAs/s400/59301410_10157200347605396_7314033519280259072_n.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
874. I'm thankful for the growing in God. It can be difficult, it can bring tears. But it is always for my good. Romans 8:28!<br />
<br />
875. I'm thankful for a husband that supports me in everything I do. He is always my cheerleader whether he's building an amazing coffee cart or if he is simply sitting in the audience silently supporting me. He is my best friend, my protector, my shoulder to cry on, and my "honey you're crazy" reminder.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
876. Being able to make a sugar-free vanilla latte at home.<br />
<br />
877. People God sends in my path to encourage me when they don't even realize what they are doing.<br />
<br />
878. The sunshine!<br />
<br />
879. My dad. His birthday and Father's day is approaching fast. He's always been there to guide, direct, calm, and be a gentle hand when need be. I will never forget my wedding day when I was freaking out right before going in and he asked a silly question on what he was supposed to do that immediately calmed me down. I'm thankful for him, even when he is saying things I don't like/want to hear. Love you dad!<br />
<br />
So, what are you thankful for this week? What has God done for you? What are some simple pleasures in life that just make you smile? Be thankful. Live with an attitude of gratitude! It makes a difference!Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04508534851826843157noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3173788308803719107.post-59343816205746819722019-06-11T07:56:00.001-04:002019-06-11T07:56:36.730-04:00Back to Blogging!Wow! Long time no hear from, right? Life has been super busy and fun and exciting and busy and, did I say busy?<br />
<br />
Well, it has been! God has been doing amazing things in our home and our lives and we are so excited about the adventures ahead.<br />
<br />
I have recently gone through the process of becoming a credentialed minister with our church and that will culminate on the 17th of June. This has been an exciting time as we all step out in faith to follow God's call on our family's lives. Yes. It is a call for all of us. We do this together. Any time anyone goes into ministry, God brings the whole family along and boy have we seen just that!<br />
<br />
<b>Homeschooling</b><br />
We are still homeschooling Boo Bear and will continue to do so for as long as God provides that route. He is going into the 8th grade! I'm not sure how that happened so fast but... it did and he is. I still think he should look like this honestly...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qcEGf0kL3V0/Smews1vRx5I/AAAAAAAAAQc/wnW8sO6pP5wkbgBsQpLjUNkonV0bBZx2wCPcBGAYYCw/s1600/DSCF0387.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="240" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-qcEGf0kL3V0/Smews1vRx5I/AAAAAAAAAQc/wnW8sO6pP5wkbgBsQpLjUNkonV0bBZx2wCPcBGAYYCw/s320/DSCF0387.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
I think he should still be toddling around doing crazy stuff.<br />
<br />
He is doing crazy, wonderful things but...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-E1RXB4JdtFM/XP-VC-qmz2I/AAAAAAAAUbk/e_iFo-Lq7vUkz3jrEgnV_aOzrjWmBO4lQCLcBGAs/s1600/20190608_105453.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="900" height="400" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-E1RXB4JdtFM/XP-VC-qmz2I/AAAAAAAAUbk/e_iFo-Lq7vUkz3jrEgnV_aOzrjWmBO4lQCLcBGAs/s400/20190608_105453.jpg" width="225" /></a></div>
Life is fun and never dull when you have a teen living in the house. I'm super proud of him. He is learning guitar, playing and singing on our youth worship team, and he is just a compassionate kiddo. I can't wait to see where God takes him in his future.<br />
<br />
This summer will be exciting and new for him as well. One, he actually GETS a summer. He hasn't done that before with homeschooling. However, we have youth camp and National Fine Arts Competition this year so we are taking a full summer break. I figured he could probably use it before 8th grade hits as well.<br />
<br />
<b>Blogging</b><br />
I am trying to get back into my regular blogging plan. Life is starting to even out a bit so I'm hoping to share here more. I miss it. I love to write and sometimes when you do that for a job, the love kind of disappears for a bit. However, I want a place I can just be free to write my thoughts with no one telling me what to write about. Except for you guys. If there's something you want to hear about, let me know!<br />
<br />
I am so thankful for everyone who stops by here and takes this journey with us. If you have a prayer request today, leave it below and I'll be glad to join with you in prayer. Have a wonderful day!<br />
<br />

This past week in youth we discussed what worship is. Let me tell you. These students can totally blow my mind sometimes with the questions they ask. Be AWARE! This generation is not dumb. They aren't stupid, or just stuck on technology. Take a minute here. Listen to me. This generation is AMAZING!<br />
<br />
They ask questions and have thoughts that I didn't think till I was way older than they are. They are pushing their youth pastor and their leaders to step up their game. That's a GOOD thing. So, with that in mind, we have been having some crazy discussions lately. Mostly about what it means to have a relationship with God. To rely on Him fully and how we can do that.<br />
<br />
This week we focused on worship. What it is. What it is not. What we need to remember.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/--Qf6OGt38sA/XEsu48E796I/AAAAAAAAUAo/8fgGtDmRThgTM2N3VLdDQ_u2Aiav1yBfwCLcBGAs/s1600/adult-applause-audience-952437.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="900" data-original-width="1600" height="225" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/--Qf6OGt38sA/XEsu48E796I/AAAAAAAAUAo/8fgGtDmRThgTM2N3VLdDQ_u2Aiav1yBfwCLcBGAs/s400/adult-applause-audience-952437.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><div>
<a href="https://www.pexels.com/search/worship/">Photo credit</a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: small;"></span><br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
What is Worship?<br />
Worship is giving reverence, and adoration to a deity. It is an act of expressing that reverence or "extravagant respect or admiration for or devotion to an object of esteem".<br />
<br />
Worship is:<br />
<ol>
<li>Giving God the honor due to Him - Psalm 29:2</li>
<li>Thanking God for EVERYTHING He has done for you. Even the tough times can be times of thankfulness and worship.</li>
<li>Allowing God to speak to you. Shutting out the world, and actually listening to what He has to say.</li>
<li>A lifestyle. It's not just singing and clapping on Sunday's or other "church" days. It is a lifestyle. You can worship in work, in deed, in giving, in everything you can do. Do it all unto Him!</li>
</ol>
<div>
Worship is NOT: </div>
<ol>
<li>About <b><i>you</i></b>. It's not about how "great" you feel or how many goosebumps you got during the songs. Our focus should be on God, not on what us. </li>
<li>A concert. Yes, God gives the musicians and singers talent and gifts. Yes they use them, but it's not about you saying how good the band was that day. It isn't a concert for you to enjoy. It should be an immersive experience that you participate in.</li>
<li>A time filler. It's not to just waste time. It's an important part of the service or your day. </li>
</ol>
<div>
Remember...</div>
<div>
When Joshua and the children of Israel were walking around Jericho, they blew the trumpets and shouted. That's when God took down the wall. David danced and didn't care what people thought of him as he worshipped God. He just knew God was worthy and he was going to give all his praise and adoration to Him. Paul and Silas were beaten, bloody, bruised, and chained in prison. Yet, they sang hymns and prayed. Right there in prison. That's when the earth shook, the chains broke and the doors flew open. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Worship is warfare. Worship is intimate communication with your Father. Worship can be loud, it can be silent. There's no right or wrong way to worship. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I shared with the teens something and I'm going to share here. I believe in being transparent. I LOVE Bama football. If you know me, you know that. I'm not quiet when I watch a game. It's loud. It's noisy. I jump up and yell and shout. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
One day watching a game the Holy Spirit nudged me and asked me why I got more excited about a ball game than worship. 😐I mean yeah, I get excited but I still worried about what others thought. I've made up my mind not to do that anymore. Do I still feel "weird" or like people might laugh at me? Absolutely. But you know what... Jesus died for me. He took my beating, my punishment, my shame for me. The least I can do is be giggled at or looked at for worshipping Him. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I encourage you to worship in your way. It doesn't have to be loud and jumping around. It doesn't have to be quiet. It is however you worship. Just Worship...</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
It can move mountains. It can give you peace and joy and remind you that God loves you and has you right where you are. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMheu6sIpS-NzC3nqfw1yuli6iylDReKOjc479o1k7CASkL4yJhaA0lv4SECLbNQjdZbFLjLR_LlO4-WEhUrs1eJnLQGdDCWAb79aCzkPJCOPVTY0_VN3r2os_24pl0vEUKiVxqKO2b4U/s1600/50085466_10215859066082352_7672971439514845184_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="960" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMheu6sIpS-NzC3nqfw1yuli6iylDReKOjc479o1k7CASkL4yJhaA0lv4SECLbNQjdZbFLjLR_LlO4-WEhUrs1eJnLQGdDCWAb79aCzkPJCOPVTY0_VN3r2os_24pl0vEUKiVxqKO2b4U/s400/50085466_10215859066082352_7672971439514845184_n.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div>
<br />
So, what is a Chronological Bible? Basically, it is a bible that puts the books of the bible and stories that we all know and love in chronological order. You probably know most of the stories and have possibly even read the entire bible. However, this option puts it all in chronological order of how it happened. So you're not going to have your traditional order here. It is going to seem to jump around all while tying the beautiful story of God and His love for you in a timeline.<br />
<br />
The bible offers a 52 week reading schedule that takes you through the entire Bible in a year if you follow their schedule. While most chronological versions start on January 1st and end Dec 31st, this bible doesn't have a set date to start. You can start at any point through the year and read on your schedule.<br />
<b></b><br />
<b>So, what is Christian Standard Bible Version?</b><br />
This version of the bible was written by 100 scholars from various denominations with the intent to make the bible easily understood. The focus was to draw readers in to a deeper relationship with God while not changing anything about what the original Word says. You can also find out more info on this particular translation by <a href="https://www.lifeway.com/en/shop/bibles/csb">clicking here</a>.<br />
<br />
The bible is structured in different acts such as you would have in a play or theater production you're watching. Each act has scenes that goes throughout the story of God. For example, you'll have a week and a day of the week to read a various set of scripture passages, each building on the ones previous to that day's reading.<br />
<br />
With this easy to understand translation and reading plan, you can read through the entire bible in 52 weeks. This can help you to stay focused, understand how the Word all ties together, and see the story of creation, God's love and redemption plan all fitting perfectly and seamlessly together.<br />

<u><span style="color: #000120;"></span></u><br />
Last year was the first year that I have ever read through the entire bible, ever. In my life. I read a chronological bible plan on my phone app and it really helped me tie things together. It was honestly eye opening to see how all these stories intertwine together and how the same stories are shared in multiple places in the bible. It helps to remind us that no matter what we're facing, God is always there and works for our good.<br />
<br />
I'm super thankful and excited to announce that Lifeway is also offering a giveaway of this same bible to one of my readers! You can enter the contest below and share with all your friends! Be sure to leave a comment below and let me know if you've ever read the bible chronologically before. What were your thoughts if you did?<br />
<br />
Thank you so much for stopping by and good luck on the entry form!<br />

That has to change... Life has been crazy busy the past 8 months and so much has gone on. I'm planning on getting back to blogging if it is only to come in once a week and share the amazing things God has done for us. Which, in all honesty, that's why I do this anyway. To share what awesomeness God is doing in and around us.<br />
<br />
So, without further ado....<br />
<br />
860. I'm thankful for coffee and for the little wall flower thingy's from Bath and Body Works that know I love coffee.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
861. I'm thankful for the AMAZING services we've been having at church for this past several months. It has been unreal what God is doing in our church and our community. In our individual lives and the changes I've seen personally. God is still in the business of healing, saving, restoring, refining, and renewing!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
862. I'm thankful that God has blessed me with two amazing boys! Yes. One of them may be over 6-feet tall, but he is still a little boy at heart. I love these two and the relationship they are building this year. It has been awesome to watch them over the past several months as Boo Bear is growing into a young man and as Daddy is helping him. </div>

864. I'm thankful for God's call on my life and that even when I thought I had wasted it, nothing is wasted. God still has a call and still has a plan, even when we fail to see it or don't catch on quite as soon as we should. He doesn't waste any experiences we go through and can use them for His glory. </div>

This new addition is no different. This is a Stainless Steel Grill Pan that allows you to cook a variety of items without the fear of losing them in the grates. Let's face it. When you think of grilling, you don't typically think of cooking your eggs on the grill, do you?<br />
<br />
With this grill pan, you can do just that and so much more. This grill pan allows you to cook a variety of items such as vegetables, eggs, meat and more without worrying about losing part of your meal into the charcoal or gas grill.<br />
<br />
This pan is specially made to offer perfect grill marks for those steaks and chicken that you want to char without them getting stuck to the grates. You can use this pan on a gas or charcoal grill and get perfectly cooked food every time.<br />
<br />
When you're looking for a healthier way of cooking your food, grilling is typically what comes to mind first. It gives you a great flavor without the added fat or oils that typically are used in cooking on the stove or in the oven. Grilling your food gives it a great taste and it allows you to get rid of some of the fat while cooking.<br />
<br />
This <a href="https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1/132-5503612-9570566?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=stainless+steel+grill+pan&field-asin=B07C3Z7RH4&rh=i:aps,ssx:relevance&linkCode=as2&tag=mdmrare-20">grill pan</a> is made of a durable stainless steel material. You can tell from the moment you pick the item up that it is solid and made of a long-lasting material to cook all your food for years to come. This is a great item to take with you camping so that you can cook every meal right there at your campsite.<br />
<br />
The pan itself has handles on three sides so that you do not have to worry about losing your food when transporting it into the house.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_CYE2JI3d0k/W17716TSlFI/AAAAAAAAS7k/3ytF2DEr-pIvQhm81aATlzEj82cpUIZtgCLcBGAs/s1600/20180730_073929.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-_CYE2JI3d0k/W17716TSlFI/AAAAAAAAS7k/3ytF2DEr-pIvQhm81aATlzEj82cpUIZtgCLcBGAs/s320/20180730_073929.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
It offers ample cooking space to make sure you can easily get all your items cooked and finished at the same time. No more trying to time the inside side dishes to the outside meat you have cooking. You can do it all in one place and reduce the pans and pots you have to use. It's so easy to use this for cooking your favorite steak and veggie dinner on a Friday night.<br />
<br />
I'm very thankful that Cave Tools offered me the opportunity to check out this amazing pan! I recommend you try it out for yourself! If you're a camping family or a grilling family, this is a great product to add to your arsenal of cooking tools. It can help you get the entire meal done in one place while enjoying time with your friends and family.<br />
<br />
They also provided a special code for my readers should you want to buy this item. Use this code to receive 15% off your <a href="https://cavetools.com/products/bbq-grill-pan">purchase</a> of this amazing pan: GRILLPAN15<br />

If you've hung around here long enough, you know that we love to cook and my hubby is the "Grillmaster". We love trying out new recipes and new gadgets to make that even easier to do! Gadgets not only make your life easier, they are also fun to incorporate into the kitchen. And if you have a guy in your life that loves to grill or cook, these types of things make great gift ideas (Father's day or Christmas anyone?).<br />
<br />
I've reviewed <a href="http://bobjenjack.blogspot.com/search?q=cave+tools" rel="nofollow">other products</a> before from Cave Tools and this one is another great asset to have in your grilling arsenal.<br />
<br />
Introducing the <a href="https://cavetools.com/products/chicken-wing-leg-rack">Chicken Wing and Leg Rack</a>. This rack is perfect for the grill or your smoker to ensure even cooking of these bone in pieces that can sometimes be hard to get even. Let's face it. Cooking chicken with the bone in tastes better but can be a real hassle when you're trying to time the rest of the meal and ensure the chicken is done completely all the way through. This rack makes it easy to not only cook your chicken to perfection, it also makes it easy to get your veggies done as well!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ghFCL89n4og/WyKGMIc8sWI/AAAAAAAAS28/5Tksxw8ImQ4zDpqw-8WF1pL_vk6uuw4-QCLcBGAs/s1600/35287775_10214382218322081_4991838693397364736_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="960" height="320" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ghFCL89n4og/WyKGMIc8sWI/AAAAAAAAS28/5Tksxw8ImQ4zDpqw-8WF1pL_vk6uuw4-QCLcBGAs/s320/35287775_10214382218322081_4991838693397364736_n.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
This chicken rack offers the capacity to cook 12 drumsticks at a time. You can also cook 12 wings or thighs all together. This works well in the oven too if you're not wanting to fire up the grill or smoker. The legs on the rack are very sturdy and lock into place so there's no worry of it tipping over and losing your chicken in the process.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The drip pan that you see on the rack in the photo above helps to catch all those yummy juices and fats that will come out of the chicken during the process. This is a perfect place to throw some veggies or to collect the juices to make your favorite gravy to go along with your homecooked meal. One of our favorite recipes to use for chicken pieces such as legs and thighs is to rub them with olive oil and some of our favorite Cajun seasoning. It makes the meat delicious with a crispy skin on the outside. Lip smacking good!!! </div>
