B is for "Titan Boa"

Blogging Through the Alphabet Time for another blogging through the alphabet post! This is really neat. I find myself trying to figure things out when we are out ;) . This "B" post sort of landed in my lap last week.

We ended up at the Natural Museum of History last week as a last minute trip. It was really fun and when we got there this is what we saw:

So this week our post is B is for "titan BOA". Wow! This thing was huge!!! It is longer than a school bus and weighed 2,500 pounds. The fossils they found of it showed that the snake was as big around as a bicycle tire tube. It was amazing!
We learned about what was inside a snake:

This was a neat little magnetic board that Boo Bear could try to figure out where the parts were. They also had one of a human next to it to compare the two.

Here's the beast!!!

I sure would hate to meet that thing crawling around.

Be sure you stop by and check out the other "B" posts this week!!
