Wednesday Wisdom

My heart is saddened as I write to you today. A friend has lost someone close to them and I know this is not an easy time. So I thought for this week’s Wednesday Wisdom we could think about peace.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:6,7

Sometimes we have to be reminded that we are to be anxious for nothing. It is hard as humans to not get worried and fret about things going on in our lives. Loss of jobs, loss of loved ones, pain we may feel or things just not going right in our lives. That is the most important time we should lean on Him and let Him do what His will is. He can work His perfect peace in us that passes all our understanding. He is the comforter we need and there in times of good and times of not so good. When the weight of the world seems to be coming down on our shoulders and we are not sure how much more we can stand, that is when He is carrying us through these trials and tribulations. He is there to wipe our tears and there to strengthen us to face the situations before us.

To my friend, know that I am sending my prayers for God’s peace to fill your heart and comfort you in your time of need.

To anyone who is struggling or facing trials you might not be sure about, call on Him. He is there to answer you and lead you in the right direction. Listen to that still small voice and He will help you find the path He has laid out for you.

Be Blessed!
