Weekly Wrap-up

In our life this week... Not a whole lot going on. We have basically been on our regular routine while getting ready for a big trip. We have had some nice cold weather show up here. ;) That did cause us to go find Boo Bear a new coat so that was fun :)

In our homeschool this week...We had a great field trip to our local park where we learned about how life was years ago. We talked with civil war soldiers, watched cotton put on a loom and lots of other wonderful things. We had a great time. We have also been working right along on our math, science and other studies. His reading is really progressing and I am very proud of him. We may struggle if it's a topic he just really doesn't want to read but he is really doing a great job. We really enjoyed the field trip this week and I need to work on doing more of those.

Places we're going and people we're seeing...We had our field trip this week, cub scouts, a park play date, grocery shopping and who knows what else we will cram into this weekend ;)

My favorite thing this week... The field trip has to be the tops. It was absolutely a blast.

I'm cooking... sausage casserole, meatball subs and whole wheat waffles.

I'm grateful for... The peace that God provides.
