I started making this last year and it has become a requested favorite around the holidays. It is very easy and really very good. I use Splenda but you can use sugar since it calls for sugar. (with a couple of diabetics in the family Splenda is our go to )
1 cup of Splenda
1 cup of water
A bag of fresh cranberries
Combine the Splenda (or sugar) and water in a pot and bring to a boil. Add in your cranberries and bring back to a boil. Reduce your heat and boil gently for about 10 minutes or so. When you start to hear them popping it is time to take them off the heat. Remove it and cool before putting it in the fridge. This is quite yummy! It is tart if you use Splenda. It is great for those who like more of a tart and not sweet cranberry sauce.
