** There's still time to enter the giveaway today!! **Let me tell you. This kid has been all smiles since a week ago. I know it's still in the "honeymoon" stage of being back to homeschooling but boy has it been worth it. I know he misses visiting with friends but he has had a blast. He has been a happier child than he has been in six months.
He has been working very hard and completing his work each day. Reading for 30 minutes? Yep! He's been doing that too!
As a mom I know that it's not always about being happy and smiling. I know we have to learn hard lessons along the way. I also know that my child had been hidden away somewhere for awhile. People that know him could see the change as well. We are exploring a lot of new things and are anxiously awaiting our Science to arrive! We can't wait to study space and the universe with Apologia's Astronomy.
The happiness I have seen and the smiles that have reappeared are amazing and a comfort to this Mama's heart.
He's back to his old self and learning and thriving. I am so thankful that we have this opportunity to homeschool now and do not take it for granted at all. God is awesome and is amazing in all He does.
Although I know tough days are sure to be around at times, I know that we can stop and smile because we are doing this together.
