Week in Review.. Not Much To It :)

This week was kind of a slow one. We did more outside stuff/packing than actual school work. The public systems were on spring break so we took sort of a break too. The next few weeks will be a whirlwind of craziness so some downtime was in store. We are hoping to close on our home soon and that will be a new adventure in itself. So here's a few shots of what we did this week.

Molly tried helping me pack yesterday. Well, she was more trying to cuddle than to pack, but that's okay ;)..

We went to one of the library programs this week. Dr. Suess's birthday party with the Cat in the Hat was a fun time. The kids dressed up like the cat and had cupcakes, read stories and made their own cat. Here's Boo Bear decked out.

We also went to see Mr. Peabody and Sherman. It was pretty good. I think he liked it more than I did. Usually I love those kinds of things but this one was not my favorite. It wasn't bad just not one of my favorites.

I tried a new recipe last night from Publix. It was a hit and I'll probably add it back to our menu planner. There's so much going on right now that dinner is usually just a wing it process. I take what I have and fix something to eat .:)  How many of you guys do that everyday anyway? I have been doing it for far too long and need to get back to menu planning. When we get moved into our new home, that's one of the first things on my list ;)

So how was your week? Are you on Spring Break or did you do normal school? Be sure to check out the linkups below and share your week!

  1. Visiting from Weekly Wrap-up. Congratulations on selling your home! Dogs so love to be involved in everything. Ours is the same way. So sweet. Thank you for sharing your week.

  2. Yep, I do some 'wing it' dinners. I try to keep ingredients on hand for lots of meals and then I can choose what sounds good or fits the day's activities. It's a little harder to be flexible when feeding 10 people but I've gotten better at it. ;)

Good luck on the home closing and moving process. That's always interesting and stressful rolled into one.
