MOPS Momsense Review and Giveaway!

I was contacted  by MOPS, Mothers of Preschoolers, to review their new book by Jean Blackmer called MomSense. Jean writes a beautiful encouragement to us Mother's on finding and embracing our "Momsense".

I love how she encourages us to look inside ourselves with different questions and guides through out the book. The mom stories are wonderful tidbits of real life moms who share their stories and their adventures in raising their children. I know a lot of times I second guess myself and what I am doing for my son. Jean reminds me that God made me Boo Bear's mom and I am the perfect mom for him. It is nice to hear from other mother's who have faced the struggles we all face and know you are not alone in this journey through Motherhood. Be encouraged and challenged as you read through the chapters on sense of patience and sense of respect. (both of which I am working on myself :))

Jean's book will speak to your heart and encourage you to "embrace your instincts". I have been blessed to giveaway a copy of this book to one of my wonderful readers! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post about one of your most memorable Mom Moments. If you are not sure who MOPS is then it is time you found this wonderful group! It is a great group of women in your community who join together to build relationships, support each other and encourage each other. Check out your local group. Happy Commenting!
Giveaway ends Sunday night at Midnight!

  1. One of my favorite mommy moments was listening to my then 2 year old daughter say the following as I drove the kids home from daycare one day:
    "I wove my mommy.
    I wove my daddy.

I wove my mommy and daddy, and I’m so happy.

    I’m so happy…"

  2. As the author or MomSense I’m happy to hear how this book has encouraged you! I truly hope moms who read it will become the confident moms their children need. Keep talking to each other because friends don’t let friends mother alone.

    Blessings,

    Jean
