This is my 3rd year to link up with Susan and Janice and 5 Minutes for Mom. Each year they have a wonderful party hosted on their site. You can earn lots of prizes and meet tons of great new people. All you need to do is create an intro post and join up in the party. There are all types of blogs and you can choose what group you fit in.
So grab that cup of (fill in the blank) and get ready to party!
Welcome to Our Journey! This is us, just a few years ago. ;)
We have one hound dog that is turning 9 this year.
He likes to hang out while we work on school stuff. :)
We love to do science experiments here. ;)
This is where we made slime... Fun? Yes. Icky? Definitely yes!!
We have a great time here....
But we can also be serious too...
I have the sweetest little boy that has a heart full of compassion for others and loves learning. He never meets a stranger, which for Mommy can be scary. But he has such a great personality. I am so blessed to be called his Mommy. He is the light of our lives and we thank God for him everyday.
He's our muscle man, super hero, dinosaur slayer, dragon tamer , cub scout loving, t-ball playing boy.
What will you find here? Well I talk about a lot of things. You will find reviews on homeschool curriculum options out there. You will also hear about what we do each week with the link ups we follow. You will see a lot of cooking and recipe sharing here too. I love to cook and have recently started following the Paleo/Primal lifestyle. You might see shots like this around here too:
I blog about faith, family, homeschool and our life in general. You'll catch lots of things on here and it may be different from week to week. I have been blogging off and on for four years but have consistently been blogging for probably 2-3 years. It started off as a hobby and a way to connect with family that lived off from us and has blossomed into more than I could ever imagine. I have met some awesome blogging families on this journey and can't wait to meet more of you!
So welcome to Our Journey. Feel free to pull up a patio chair, share your favorite recipes and a glass of good ole' sweet tea or whatever your choice is. :) I'm glad you stopped by and I hope you'll come back. Please let me know if you come by so I can return the favor and the follow!!!
Have a great time partying this week and I hope to "see" you around!
Hi Jen, So glad to meet you here! We are homeschoolers too - we have three girls. This year, I am partying from my business blog, Mommy Bag Marketing Inc. where we love all things family and parenting! I'm now following you on Twitter! ~Beverly

Winter came and people looked at me strangely. In fact, I better get a new pair the ones I have now are falling apart. I trip on the flap more than once a day. Hee Hee. Love being comfortable!

ReplyDeleteOh how awesome! My son is following right behind me ;) He would rather be barefoot than shoes ;) LOL Thanks for coming by Alaina!
DeleteHi Jenni! I enjoyed my visit. Too funny seeing the slime picture. Slime making is actually on my agenda tomorrow0 I watched clever YouTube videos teaching me how today- but my kids are 21, 20 and 16 so I don't have a good excuse like a 7 year old! I'm making it for my husband! He is the student pastor at our church and needs some for an illustration. Life never gets dull around here! Enjoy the party this week. Hope to see you around sometime. Amy
ReplyDeleteOhh that sounds like an interesting sermon :) I'll have to hear about that more! It is definitely an interesting experiment. He had a blast doing it. Mom.. ehh. it was weird LOL Thanks for stopping by and hope to hear more from you!
DeleteHopping over from UBP13. I homeschooled for 10 yrs, but now mine are all grown up. I also like to cook, craft & write. If you ever want some fun activities with your kids, stop by for our Oreo Moon Phases or our Lucky Charms Graph.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Kerry! I'll be sure to hop over there too :)
DeleteIt's nice to 'meet' you Jen! You have to have some dedication to follow the Paleo/Primal diet! My sister and her husband follow that diet as a lifestyle (have been for years!) I like my baked goods, though! ;-)
ReplyDelete:) I do too but I'm learning to bake them differently :) Thanks for stopping by!!

DeleteHi there - I am visiting from the UBP13 :) Glad to have found your blog; I really like your writing style and can't wait to poke around some more! We are new to the paleo/primal food scene, so I can't wait to read what you have to say about it, since we have seen a ton of health benefits in our little ones even in just the last few weeks of changing our diets and are looking forward to what is ahead. Have a great day!
ReplyDelete- Jennah

My mom is having huge success with a paleo diet... I'm trying to follow it too, but having a hard time making myself leave behind grains.
