Beat The Summer Drain With K5 Learning!

Disclosure: I was given free use of this product so that I could write an honest review about it.

Recently we were able to review the K5 Learning program. This program is an award winning education program that is all online. This is a program that is for grades K-5th grade to help your child with reading, math and spelling. This would be awesome for this summer to help reduce the drain that kids go through.

You can start them out with the assessment and see where they should start in the program. For me that is a huge plus. I don't want my second grader starting at a Kindergarten level. So taking the assessment is a great idea!

Once you have taken the assessment and you know where your child should start, they can dive right in. You have a separate log in from your child. They will login each day and work on their lessons in Math and Reading. The lessons are easy for them to understand and interact with. It won't take long and they'll be doing it all by themselves! Check out this neat video tour of the program by clicking here.

The lessons are fairly short and can be done in short 5 minute segments for each part of the lesson. They have the chance at the end of their lesson to keep going or to stop. It will save their progress and creates a report for you to see how they are progressing. It will show their successes and where they need to work on.

This would be a great program for after school, homeschool supplementation or as a summer program to keep that summer drain from taking over. Your children can keep learning through the summer or supplement concepts they have already learned.

The price for the program for a monthly subscription is $25 for the first child. Each child after that is an additional $15. If you want to pay for the whole year at once, it is $199. I would suggest you check out the trial and sign up month to month as all programs don't work the same for everyone.

You can also check out the sample lessons to see how they run, print out worksheets to supplement concepts and take that free assessment.

I think this works great for a few minutes everyday to keep your children learning and growing. For those who struggle with reading or math concepts, this can help them get past that barrier. It also shares Math Facts to help reiterate those in their minds as well.

You can sign up for a free trial and see the program for yourself by clicking the link here.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
