I'm going to get real with ya. Yes we homeschool. Yes we learn everyday here but... I sometimes feel like I can't remember half of what I learned in school. Do you ever feel that way? I know part of it can be age (hmm hmm) and part of it is due to other things but I still feel like I should know more than I do. Do you get that? Soooo, when a challenger game comes up I'm excited.
I want ways to keep my brain fresh and going in a good direction. Keeping your brain happy and healthy means giving it some challenges to keep up with. So enter the Shell Game.
Have you ever seen those magicians that like to put a small item under a cup and then swap it all around to see if you can find it again? That's the basic idea of this game. Start out with the beginner challenges to get yourself acclimated to the game and the pattern of how it works.
Each challenge gets progressively harder to do. You can only move the shells along the arcs that connect the circles. The top of the paper shows you where things should start and the bottom row shows you how it should end up. Each challenge has it's answers in the instruction book but don't cheat!
This fun game allows you to challenge yourself to harder and harder levels to see how far you can go before you're stumped. I really enjoyed playing this as I did the Chocolate Fix game. These one player games are nice to help you unwind and just depress from the day. They can also help you get your brain working in the morning if you need it. They are really good for anytime of day.
This game is for children 8 years old and up. It runs $19.99 and has 60 different challenges for you to try out.
How do you keep your brain active and young? How far do you think you can get in the challenges book?
